Anthony Lee Phillips

Composer

Passionate, self-taught and patient, Anthony Lee Phillips has written hundreds of songs on guitar, and a dozen or so on piano. He thinks of lyrics like his journal, putting you in his head and lending you his senses. I'm him, and I'm gonna stop talking in third person now.

When you meet me (which I hope you will), I want you to feel seen. To know that my attention is yours. I want to make everyone I meet smile, even if just for a moment. That's not something my songs say explicitly, but it's something I care deeply about, it's the core of who I am.

As a composer,

I am currently cutting my teeth.

I've composed for two films -

Remnants,

and a submission for the

Seattle 48 Hour Film Festival, October 2020.

I hope to compose more soundtracks soon!

I am working on a long piece,

a symphony

which illustrates my vision

of the rich and broad world of

Frank Herbert's novel,

Dune.

You can find my works in progress on that

here.

As a songwriter,

I am currently producing an album called

So Much Space, So Much Time.

I don't know when it is coming out,

But I hope you'll hear it

Whenever it does.
